Christmas Lights Switch-On

In 10 days (at the time of writing this!) we shall be wrapping up warm and gathering around the Town Hall ready for the 2014 Christmas Lights Switch-on!

For those of you reaching for your calendars, 10 days time will be 27 November!

At 4:30pm the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon will be switching on the Christmas Lights; a high'light' in Stratford's calendar and a great start to the Town's Christmas festivities.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Also, Santa's postbox is now outside the Town Hall. Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm until 17 December. Get those letters in to Santa kids! Don't forget to include your address so he can write back!

The Doors are Open!

From Monday 16 June 2014 the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Cllr Ian Fradgley, will be at the Town Hall on Monday mornings between 10am and 12 noon.

If you would like to speak with the Mayor between these times, you can either make an appointment by telephoning the Civic Secretary on 01789 269332 or just drop in and see if the Mayor is free.

CIVIL WEDDINGS AT THE TOWN HALL

The Town Hall, situated in the very heart of this delightful market town is a very beautiful building, housing not only the Town Council but providing a romantic venue for civil weddings.

This is indeed an impressive and memorable room to hold a civil ceremony. A red carpeted dais at one end of the room provides a focal point for the registrar to conduct the wedding and the room can be extended to incorporate the Committee Room which will allow for over 100 seated guests in theatre style.
