Independent for Alveston since 1999

Councillor Michael Crutchley has lived in Stratford-upon-Avon all his life, being born and raised in Tiddington with his brother and three sisters.  He was educated at Alveston Junior School and King Edward VI Grammar School.

Michael married Janet in 1956 at Holy Trinity Church and has two daughters and five grandchildren.

Revd. Dr. Roy Lodge MBE was educated in Watford and Bristol and is married to Gina, the retired Chair of Governors of Willows C of E School and involved in various community projects.  They have one son, a Headmaster living in St Albans and are proud grandparents to two grandchildren.

A former Great Britain International Athlete, he also served for ten years in the T.A.

Liberal Democrat for Alveston since 2006

Joan was born in Birmingham and educated at the Alice Ottley School in Worcester. 

She is married to Ian and they have three daughters.

Moving to Stratford in 1978 where they have now settled, Ian’s business career previously involved the family spending varying lengths of time living in Birmingham, Belfast, London and Glasgow.

Joy (Sylvia Joyce) Seaman
Conservative for Alveston since 2006

Councillor Mrs Joy Seaman was born and educated in Bristol.  She met her husband Vince, who is also a Town Councillor when they both worked for the Co-Operative Insurance Society, ‘an office romance’.  They have been married for over 45 years and have three children and six grandchildren.

Career History
Joy started in a secretarial capacity, changed to the retail sector as a demonstrator and beauty consultant and then had ‘time out’ to raise a family.

Councillor Vince Seaman was born in the West Country.  There, he met his wife, Joy, a teacher by profession and also a Town Councillor herself since 2006, whom he married in 1961.  They have celebrated over 45 years of marriage; have three children and six grandchildren.
