Title - Welcome to the Stratford upon Avon Town Council

Edward Keith Lloyd [Known as Keith]

Councillor Keith Lloyd was born in the Ruthin, North Wales.  He moved to Stratford-upon-Avon in 1974 and married his wife Elaine in 1989. They have five children, four boys and one girl.

Career History:
Keith has spent the majority of his career in purchasing.

Community Interests:
Joining the Council in 1999, Councillor Lloyd is one of the longest serving Councillors who has yet to put himself forward as Mayor.  He serves on the General Purposes and Finance & Scrutiny Committees and is also a member of the Town Hall (Maintenance) Working Party.  Keith is the Council’s representative for Age Concern and a trustee of the Mayor’s Fund.

Councillor Lloyd lost his seat on the District Council in May 2007 but vows to ‘fight again for independence’ in a future election.

Leisure Activities
Keith enjoys the occasional game of golf but as a father of four boys, a lot of his spare time is spent encouraging and watching them in their leisure activities.

He is an active supporter of Manchester City and is also very keen on seeing Wales doing well in a game of rugby!
