William John Dowling

Councillor Bill Dowling was born and bred in Stratford-upon-Avon, growing up with his brother and five sisters and attending St Gregory’s Primary School and Warwick School . 

Bill has a son, Joshua and for many years has lived with his partner, Marion.

Career History:

Bill had a varied career before entering University College London as a mature student.  His work with the Phillips Corporation saw him travelling all over the world, prior to returning to Stratford-upon-Avon in 1995.  Bill is now director of one of the town’s prominent taxi operators.
