Works are now underway constructing the new traffic signal junction at the intersection of Birmingham Road and Hamlet Way in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Commencing on Monday (January 30) for two days, temporary traffic lights will be in use at the junction of Birmingham Road and Hamlet Way. The temporary traffic lights will be in operation between 9:30am to 4pm to allow the safe removal of three traffic islands from the centre of Birmingham Road.

Removing these islands means that temporary traffic signals will not be needed for the majority of the construction work.  While traffic congestion is unavoidable, Warwickshire County Council and the contractor carrying out the works will endeavour to ensure they are done as efficiently as possible and keep any disruption caused to a minimum.
